The most spectacular climbing and wilderness areas in the United States are found near our home base of Seattle. Our climbs take place in the North Cascades, often referred to as the “American Alps,” on the massive glaciated volcanoes of the Cascade Range, and on the glacier-crowned jewel of the Olympic Mountain Range, Mount Olympus. Visitors to these areas will find ancient forests, cascading waterfalls, hundreds of glaciers, pristine alpine lakes and meadows, and wildlife that include wolves, bear, marmots, mountain goats, and a variety of birds. Because of its rugged approaches, exceptional alpine terrain, and unrivaled scenery, it is the premiere training ground for climbers in North America.
