Join us for a two-day winter camping adventure on the snowy slopes of Mt. Saint Helens. Snowshoe to camp at 4000' for spectacular views without the bugs and crowds. We'll also be teaching winter shelter building and the skills you need to stay comfortable and safe overnight int he backcountry. During downtime you'll have the option of snowshoeing to gain elevation and a panorama of the mountain and its pristine surroundings.
This trip includes: Transport to and from REA office, meals, group gear (tents, stoves), snowshoes, and trekking poles. Participants should be in good physical condition and prepared to spend 2 full days in winter conditions. This trip requires three (3) participants to run.
